The process to repipe a typical home, we eliminate the existing system. We will then take a new main from either outside of the home or at the water meter. We then reroute the water lines overhead and down the wall using out expertise to be the less evasive as possible. We only cut drywall where there is no other option it is absolutely necessary.
Upon completion of running new hot and cold-water lines we complete an air test of 100psi, which will be witnessed by the home owner and then an affidavit is signed. We then turn the water back on to the home and then begin to test everything several times, while cleaning up the home. The drywall cuts are temporarily placed back in their places and taped until the following day (as permitted by the county/city). The following business day, the home will be inspected by the City/County Inspector and then the drywall is completed.
